The location is superb. The sea view from the room was very nice. It was really enjoyable to see the olde world ambience of the place.
The food let the experience down. The chicken kiev was inedible, and the battered haddock was rock hard. The burger was just okay! Breakfasts at the hotel were just okay too.

the hotel offers an excellent view of the sea front. the location is fantastic because it is directly in front of the sea. it is only five minutes from the town center, which has an excellent range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.

I found that the windows inside and out were dirty. This impacted the overall impression, I think.

The room had a beautiful sea view. The bed was very comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered a good selection.
The shower water had very little power. There was no offer of a refund for a late arrival. The hotel needs some refurbishment.
